The Google Local Guide program is a community-driven initiative powered by Google which encourages users to contribute information and details about local places, attractions as well as businesses. Users taking part in this initiative are referred to as Local guides and they are responsible for sharing their knowledge and experiences by sharing pictures, writing reviews, and updating information.
